Yours truly, Paul

Paul's letters have been on my mind, just for the message at church to resonate - let's talk about it!

The walk with God in today's world can be scary. It seems that evil, anger, resentment, and spite are all on the rise, which are not of the Spirit. (Galatians 5)

Paul warns us,

"In fact, all who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted" (2 Timothy 3:12).

However, what Paul said just before this warning was even more significant.

"You know how much persecution and suffering I endured - but the Lord rescued me from all of it" (2 Timothy 3:11).

As Christians, we do not get to just skip over the hard parts, like challenges and opposition, but our God is so good that he delivers us from these attacks. He ensures whatever evil comes our way is turned into a redemptive story that refines us and honors him. We are all each a significant part of HIS story!

Glory to God, who sees miles ahead of the current situation our minds might be preoccupied with.

"It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will freely give to the thirsty from the spring of the water of life" (Revelation 21:6).

Because of God's mercy, and because of Jesus' grace, we have eternal life and mighty power through the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:10, Acts 1:8).
